OKC, Etc.

A few weekends ago we decided to take a surprise trip up to OKC to see my brother/novaley's godfather Patrick. 

We didn't get there until pretty late because Joe had to teach Saturday school and it was a 6.5 hour drive, but we still made it there to see his last race of the night and go out to dinner afterwards.

After we got back from dinner..which was like 12:30/1am by that point...

We had a great time, and it was nice to see my brother! He hadn't seen Novaley since the end of August, so I'm glad we had the chance to go and see him before he left for Hot Springs! 

Anyways...

She has been sitting on her own like this since a few days after she turned 4 months.

So one night we let her fall asleep in our bed because we were in there watching a show in there which we don't usually do...now she never wants to fall asleep in her pack-n-play. After she falls asleep I move her into her pnp, but she refuses to fall asleep in there anymore....not cool. Hopefully after we get her crib she'll get back to her routine of falling asleep in her OWN bed. Luckily she's still sleeping 8-9 hours from whenever she decides to go to sleep lol.

The other day we got her custom shopping cart cover! I love it! It's done in all minky fabric so its super soft. It also has a pocket, pillow, and toy hooks! Just what every kid needs right. 

Yesterday before church....

Here she is today...she rolled herself onto her stomach while I was in the other room cleaning.

We'll be leaving for MN soon for a while...we will also be visiting Chicago for closing weekend at Hawthorne. Hope to see everyone while we're back!

Sanibel, Thanksgiving-11/30.

I haven't updated in a while and that's because we went to Sanibel Island with Joe's family from 17th-24th...and then she had shots, and I've just been busy in general.  

Anyways,

Once again she was really, really good and didn't cry (thank god), and it was MUCH easier having Joe there to help this time around!

We went shopping and I saw this charm bracelet like the Origami Owl necklaces that was small enough for Novaley...its actually the "demo" size, but they sold it to me anyways! I got one for myself too lol.

Friday we left verrrry early in the morning:

We were on a flight with JJ Watt's parents, grandma and great-grandma. They actually were sitting in the row in front of us and then took the elevator down to the baggage claim with us.  His mom loved Novaley and couldn't believe how much hair she had!  My only question is, why were JJ Watt's family flying economy on Air Tran lol. 

When we got home I had about a million packages to pick up from the post office...her boots from the UK came so here's a little preview of what she'll be wearing during xmas break in MN...

She was glad to be home and play her piano....she turned herself like this..I have no idea how.

The next day we went grocery shopping...yeah she drooled all over her shirt lol.

By the end of mass she was sleeping. 

Monday she turned 4 months and had shots :(

She loves bath time! Although bending over our garden tubs is a huge pita. My back is ALWAYS sore afterwards.

Wow...I'm glad I got caught up...I know I didn't write that much, but finding those pictures and putting them in order, re-sizing them, etc took forever in between giving Novaley a bath and getting her put to bed, so it just took me like the past 3 hours to update this!!!!!
