Once again I am updating a month later......oops.
Well the past month was probably one of our busiest months ever. I know it was for me at least. I recently finished another semester of grad school, and started a new job! We closed on the house on April 26, and Novaley turned 9 months! Moving really sucked......I never want to move ever again. We did actually hire movers, but they ended up not showing so at the last minute we had to rent a uhaul and move everything from our third floor apartment ourselves with one of joe's friends from school. Then to make matters worse, the next day I had to go back to the apartment and clean for about 8 hours with Novaley. Then they showed up an hour and a half late for the walk out inspection. They did say it was the cleanest apartment they've ever seen though haha.

Here's the new house! It's 4 bds, 2.5 baths, 2 car garage, really small "patio" backyard.

At her 9 month check up....she was 19 pounds 4 oz (50th percentile), 27.25 inches (34th percentile, yeah she's petite), and her head size is in the 93 percentile lol...idk, we know she is really smart but we think her hair adds some to it haha. Her doctor said she's "very advanced."

One of our neighbors on the welcoming committee dropped these off...a bunch of house stuff and a few outfits for Novaley...they are such sweet people!

9 Months:

Just in general, she has been crawling all over the place..including up the stairs. If I forget to close one of the gates in the living room then I will either find her up in her room, our room, or her bathroom...that's always a fun surprise. She walks along all the furniture and stands by herself. She hasn't taken her first steps yet, but she is very close. She eats pretty much anything that we feed her now--fruits, vegetables, meats...no sweets, dairy , grains, processed foods, or anything like that. Her favorite food is apples and she can eat a whole apple in about 2 minutes, I'm not even joking. No teeth yet. Her favorite book is her own baby book...she will literally pull it out from under the coffee table and start turning the pages and say "baby" about a million times. She is enjoying all the space at the new house, and always crawls from the living room into my office to find me when Joe is supposed to be watching her.............
Joe and I have been attempting to do a bunch of DIY projects around the house, but usually we're too lazy so not much has gotten done yet. We are in the process of painting about 4 different rooms and putting in hardwood floors into Novaley's room...then the dining room and my office. I will post pictures once the projects have been completed--but it might be after we get back from being in MN for the summer.
I am getting my wisdom teeth out next Wednesday, and hopefully I will have a speedy recovery!
I am currently working 9-6 during the day from home, and for the most part I love my new job!
I am also in the process of opening a resale shop with all of Novaley's past outfits, accessories, toys, etc.
Joe's last day of school is June 6th, but has a teacher in-service day on the 7th.
Novaley and I will be flying back on June 8th at 6 am----yikes! But, hopefully she will sleep the whole flight like she usually does.
I can't wait to get back and see my family and friends.
